It's not everyday you get the chance to see (and photograph) two great acts like Trish Murphy and Kevin Montgomery at the same gig, in a small venue, just 4 miles from your front door. It was one of the most exhilarating concerts I have ever been to.

I've put these pictures together on three pages - this one is of Trish's solo opening act, Kevin and his band are here, and Kevin, Trish and the band together are here.

The band just rocked so well on stage together, I can only hope we get to see them all on tour together again.

Trish was opening support act for Kevin and his band, Paint. This was my third Trish concert, but the first time I had seen her perform acoustic and solo. Needless to say, she was just as good even without her regular band.

She's a going !!!

It was great to hear her sing acoustic versions of the songs from her two CD's, plus a few tracks she has not recorded.

At the end of the performance, Trish threw her plectrum into the crowd, which I was lucky enough to catch!

All pictures were taken with a Kodak DC240 compact digital camera. Not quite as good in low light as my trusty 20 yr old Pentax used in my other concert pics, but still quite commendable. My thanks to the artists and venue management for their co-operation.
